Museum Tickets and Admission Discounts: 
In order to make art more accessible to the community, admission to the Whitney is now free from 5–10 pm every Friday evening. Visit on Friday evenings for free admission to the exhibits, music, and special programming. Though admission is free, tickets are required and capacity is limited. Advance tickets are recommended.

Additionally, admission to the Whitney is now free on the second Sunday of every month. Visitors of all ages will enjoy artmaking, tours, and other special events. Though admission is free, tickets are required and capacity is limited. Advance tickets are recommended.

Bring the family! Admission to the Whitney is now free every day for visitors aged 25 and under. Reserve free tickets for visitors 18 and under. Visitors 19 to 25 can sign up for an Anytime Pass— no need to book a ticket each time you visit.
