Inside The Poliform Penthouse At Gansevoort Hotel: Italian Elegance Meets New York Flair
In the heart of New York’s Meatpacking District, the Gansevoort Hotel, elebrated for its chic ambiance and prime location, recently unveiled its latest masterpiece: the Poliform Penthouse, completed in partnership with the celebrated Italian contemporary furniture designer.
Poliform—a name which conjures visions of sleek Milanese showrooms and minimalist elegance—has been redefining contemporary design since 1970. Founded by the trifecta of Alberto Spinelli, Aldo Spinelli, and Giovanni Anzani, Poliform has built its empire on an alchemy of craftsmanship, entrepreneurial flair, and a touch of artistic rebellion.
The penthouse is Poliform’s first fully-designed hotel suite in the US, designed for comfort and built to entertain. The brand tapped into its wide network of international designers to collaborate on the interiors, and the result is nothing short of spectacular.
Michael Achenbaum, the visionary behind the Gansevoort Hotel Group, is no stranger to Poliform’s allure. “I've long admired the warm, modern aesthetic of the Poliform brand,” he confesses. “When renovating our Penthouse and guest rooms, they were a natural partner and source of inspiration.”

A coffee table, carved from rare Saharan black marble with striking orange veining, anchors the room with a touch of earthy drama.
